Pacificans Care Community Mini Grant Program
In order to complement our focus on our core agencies, the Pacificans Care Board has created the Mini Grant Program. It has been designed to help provide support to individuals or organizations offering social services to residents of Pacifica.
The Mini Grant Program offers onetime grants of up to $1,000 for events, activities, programs, equipment, supplies and tasks.
The Pacificans Care Mini Grant Program Guidelines, below, define the guiding principles and application process for the Mini Grant program.
Community Mini Grant Program Application Guidelines
The following are the guidelines/principles for the Pacificans Care Community Minigrant Program:
All Mini Grants awarded must be consistent with the Pacificans Care mission of providing support for programs offering social services to residents of Pacifica and in accordance with the bylaws of Pacificans Care.
Mini Grants are intended as a one-time only grant. This means that the Board will not accept repeat applications for the same project. The grant can be used for events, activities, programs, equipment, supplies and tasks as described in the application. The maximum award is $1,000 per project.
Mini Grants are awarded for a project or program which has a direct benefit to the Pacifica community. Funds must be used within one year of the date they are awarded or they must be returned to Pacificans Care. Upon request, the Board of Pacificans Care will consider an extension.
Mini Grants must be for non-political purposes.
To request funding from the Pacificans Care Mini Grant Program please contact any Board Member or contact Pacificans Care through this website. (Mini Grant application forms are not on the website so that we may talk with you before you invest the time to prepare an application and to provide assistance in the completion of the form.)
The completed application must be fully completed, signed and received by Pacificans Care prior to the awarding of a grant. It is preferred that applications be submitted by the first of the month in order to be considered at a regular meeting that month. Additional information may be requested by Pacificans Care.
A brief final report of the accomplishments and fiscal accounting of the project must be provided within 90 days of the completion of the project on the Pacificans Care Mini Grant Evaluation Report Form. Documentation of expenditures (receipts, invoices, etc.) must be maintained and included with the final report.
